SpectraPure's new 99% UltraHigh Rejection Membranes have the highest rejection available and remove twice as much silica, phosphates and nitrates as 98% rejection membranes. These UltraHigh Rejection Membranes produce a much higher purity reverse osmosis water then conventional TFC membranes. This in combination with our super-capacity two-bed deionizing system provides the ultimate removal of algae promoting substances and the longest deionizing cartridge life, significantly reducing the cost of ownership. This super-capacity DI system consists of a newly developed color-indicating DI resin cartridge with twice as much phosphate/silica removal resin as in previous designs. When the resin changes color upon exhaustion, the cartridge should be removed and replaced with a new cartridge before any contaminant's can be passed on to the next stage. The final stage consists of a semiconductor mixed-bed cartridge with an electronic purity monitor to determine the exhaustion point. The SPECTRA+2000 is available in 15, 25, 35, and 70 (twin membrane) gallons per day systems. The 70 gpd system uses two 35 gpd membranes in series, maintaining a 99% rejection rate, which doubles the membrane life of the system in comparison to a single 70 gpd membrane system. SPECTRA+2000 Systems are equipped with the finest pre-filtration 0.5 micron MicroTec pre-filters and 20,000 gallon chlorine capacity carbon black pre-filters. Clear Ametec filter housings and a standard pressure gauge mean better visibility to system performance. No more guessing about plugged pre-filters.
