    Like most feeders, there is no way to mount this to a tank. The attachment for an air pump will ensure that it doesn't fill with water and sink after it falls into the tank (it will sooner or later). The Velcro strip it comes with is totally inadequate.

    Unless you are going to cut a (small) hole in your canopy and mount it outside of the tank, you should plan on modifying it so that it can be attached more securely. I am thinking of gluing it to a plastic plate w/holes drilled through it so that it can be secured to a tank brace with plastic ties.
