Works very well, but is too bulky. Ridiculously expensive for what you get. You are better off buying the algae-free mag holders that come with tunze adapters. They are less expensive, have less than 1/2 the footprint, and hold the stream just as well.

Well I bought the larger of the magnetic holders. At first glance I thought I paid $50 for that. Then I tried mounting my 6000 Stream to it and the attachment system left a lot to be desired. The instructions were none existent unless you can read german, except the warnings about smashing your fingers. So the mounting system just slides in and doesn't lock it uses the weight of the pump to hold it in. After using it for several days I don't know how I ever got along without one. It's so easy to adjust the placement of the Stream. I would have given it a 5 if the system snapped the stream in place. But over the long life of the product not snapping does make sense.
