I've used this for over a year and it is dead on accurate. I clean the optical probe once every 3 or 4 months as calcification does slowly build up on it and before it blocks the sensor, I make sure I clean it. The backup float switch gives anyone peace of mind. I've recommended this unit to many and never a complaint.

been using this product on my 29 bio cube for about a month now and haven't had one problem. initial set up was difficult due to the bio cube not having a flat horizontal or vertical surface mount to, but once i found a place to do so it's operation has been flawless. highly recommend.

I've been using this for a week on a 40 gallon sump for basic top-off. So far it has worked great with no glitches. I haven't noticed any interference from bubbles, pumps, skimmer, etc. The kit is "universal" enough to create a nice match to your respective system's needs.

No problems as listed below about bubble sensitivity. I have bubbles accumulating below my sensor and it doesn't seem to affect it like the reviewer below. The pump that comes with it is cheap and flimsy, for a $175 product.

The low level sensor is very sensitive to bubbles. It stuck on when bubbles in my sump built up around it. I had to build a protective skirt (a plastic cup with holes) to prevent bubble build up. Thank goodness for the high level sensor which is a float-type and unaffected by bubbles. The double sensor system is the best aspect of this system. In my opinion any topoff system switch/valve will eventually malfunction. So a double sensor system is very reassuring.
