With a combination of energy efficient motors, heavy duty silicon carbide seals, stainless steel fasteners, and UV resistant translucent PVC housing, you can confidently choose the Reeflo™ product line for your aquarium needs. The Hammerhead™ is the most powerful pump in its class.  This energy efficient pump is ideal for 300-500 gallon aquariums with sump return systems requiring a minimum of 15 feet static head.  This unit is rated for a maximum flow rate of 5800gph, a shut off head of 23 feet and maximum wattage of 350/ 3 amps.  Using a 1/3 horsepower Baldor® TEFC Motor manufactured in the USA. Ports are 1 1/2 in/out Units are pre-wired with an 8' cord and molded 110V plug. The pumps have ODP motors to aid in running quietness. I have been running this pump for two years on a 350 gallon reef. It delivers plenty of water flow, low power comsumption and thus far no problems, EXCEPT the outlet flange cracked from overtightening which was more my fault than the pumps. A clamp and sealant fixed it.

265g reef, 75g sump, 30g fuge. HammerHead runs OM 4-way and I love how cool and quiet it runs. Was having problems using Dolphin pump as there were heating my water up too much. Great pump for the price.

125g reef, 100G sump, 75G fuge, 30G prop tank, and an oceans motions 4 way all running off one Hammerhead and I still have it balled back 1/4 of a turn.

This has to be one of the best pumps on the market. 1/3 power consumption compared to some of the other pumps with the same g.p.h. Very quiet! Very reliable.
