3 decent pump...

produces high volume with little noise for the price, but the quality of construction leaves a lot to be desired. the intake housing for the prefilter won't even stay on the pump, i'll have to either glue it on or strap in on somehow. luckily i am only using this pump for water changes.

This is the best pump that I have tried. It's very powerful, and high pressure rated and definitely outperforms the Mag 7.
The only problem is the impellor develops cracks and splits along the plastic exterior causing the impellor to expand and the pump to not function. I have replaced my impellors 3 times, usually once every 1.5 years (not too bad...) but I wish they could make the impellors last forever because the pump is really great!
I would have given this a 5 star rating but the impellor problem has mean that it only gets a 4. Perhaps they have fixed the problem by now... I hope so.

Had one running for about 3 years now. Impellor burst and had to get a new one, but other than that, works great

I bought 3 of these and after a year, one of them broke. Now the other has stopped working, too. I run them submerged and only turn them on/off once-a-week when I feed my corals. I'm very disappointed with them due high expectations from what I've read about them elsewhere.

This pump has been working for almost 2 years.
It is as strong as they say. It is a great
value.
It does have a noticeable hum, but if you
don't care about, then I recommend it. I do
wish the cover to the sponge filter would
come off easier, though.
