I purchased 2 to use in a 135 gal reef with a 52 gal sump and pushing approx. 1250+ gph on two Sea Swirl 1". The results are quite amazing as there are no dead spots. I only wish that there were more attachments to pick from that can offer a variety of flow; otherwise I give this unit my "two thumbs up!" I do not think that a wavemaker or other powerhead devices are needed.

The SeaSwirl 1" is being used on a 125 reef with a 1100gph pump. The results are great, very good circulation through out the tank. No need of wavemaker or other pumps so the tank is clean, no other devices need to be in the tank, and quite. I am on the 2nd unit, the first had a defective drive motor that got noisey. Highly recommend this device.
