Any advice on mounting this thing. The directions are not helpful at all. I'm looking for vertical mount outside of tank. Please email me at capizziesq@gmail.com

4 Much Improved over the RIOs
|

I am no fan of RIO pumps. The oil leaks, they freeze up and I have not had one yet that did not shock the heck out of me.
The SEIO is a completely different story. No oil and fully grounded. It's nice that it comes with so many mounting options. I have two in my 200G reef. At 18W, probably not suited for anything that required alot of head, but exellent for in-tank circulation. Have not been running it long enough to comment on reliability, but I would recommend them on what I have seen so far.

These pumps are a great value and a great alternative to the tunze streams (previously the only other option). Move a lot of water creating a gentle flow in the tank with very little power consumption.

This is a nice alternative to regular power heads, the flow is much better than traditional powerheads, and alot cheaper than a tunze.

4 awesome wide spread power head alternative

I have one of these in my 60" 100 gallon reef and the flow from it is indeed increadible. I highly recomend the seio series pump to anyone looking for great flow spread that has lots of GPH yet creates a gentle "wall of water" effect on the coral
