I've purchased these for my 125 and must say that the flow is so great that it sculpts my sandbed, this is with the pumps with the hanging brackets with the pivot with the powerhead pointed upwards slightly. These things are so powerful that at this depth they are still to close to the surface and can start a vortex and pull air in to the intake and spit out bubbles. I've had them for 3 mo and no problems whatsoever but there is chatter on startup so DEFINATELY a no go on using these on a wavemaker. I would consider these if you need high flow and do not need contralability.
