The Rio600RVT & Rio800RVT is a standard rio pump with a venturi plate installed on the intake of the pump, this means air is sucked into the impeller first chopping it up into a fine mist of bubbles, made for DIY Skimmers, bakpak, knop, and many other skimmers. All rio pumps (except RVT) include suction cups, flow control and many other custom fittings.

Bought the pump in January 04 and it stopped working on May 1st less than 5 months later. I've heard many bad things about RIO pumps. I would not recommend this pump.
