RIO800HP, 2500HP are high performance pumps that have been developed specifically for the aquarium. They are especially useful in wet dry filters and venturi protein skimmer when high flow rate and high pressure is needed. The Rio600RVT & Rio800RVT is a standard rio pump with a venturi plate installed on the intake of the pump, this means air is sucked into the impeller first chopping it up into a fine mist of bubbles, made for DIY Skimmers, bakpak, knop, and many other skimmers. All rio pumps (except RVT) include suction cups, flow control and many other custom fittings.
