This pump is quiet and is very strong. My 30inch Pacu's water is finally clean.

Lots of flow. Well built. Had do dial it down a bit with a gate valve. The pump itself is not loud. The fan on the back of the pump may sound loud to those who are used to in sump pumps. Also, if you stand has the back open and is not very close to the wall it could sound loud.

I bought this pump to use as my recirc-pump on my 180. It is very, very quiet and I have had no problems to date. I would definitely purchase another Pan-World for my next pump.
