Pan World Pumps Asia Pacific is a member of the Pan World Group, Japan. Pan World is a leading maker of magnetic drive pumps. It produces one of the widest ranges in the world. Also know by Blueline HD pumps in the USA. These pumps were designed and built by the former chief engineer from Iwaki-Japan. They feature similar flow rates and head pressure. They offer low noise, and reliablity that have made Iwaki the best magnetic drive pumps available. The PanWorld pumps are even a little more quiet then Iwaki, they have a full 2 year parts and labor guarantee. All seal-free bearings and magnetic drive for many years of trouble free use. These pumps also include the Powercord, something iwaki leaves off.

We highly recommend these pumps as the best quality option you can get for your tank. Plus you can't beat there price, which is lower then Iwaki. So if you need a good reliable pump that won't over heat your water or run you out of the house due to noise, this is it.

Model 200PS - equal to Iwaki MD70 Pressure rated
1750gph max flow
39 foot max head pressure

5 Great Pump 01/31/2009 - by Jon R. from Pittsburgh, PA US
I purchased the 200PS about 2 years ago from Premium Aquatics. I have it returning water on my 180 gallon tank and so far it has given me little problems. It is very reliable in my experiences, not stalling once in 2 years. This model is very powerful, I found out its a little too powerful for my needs. It is fairly quiet enough, but still I can hear it through the stand - Its about as loud as an Iwaki. The main problem I experienced was the pump does heat the water a good amount more than I expected, so fans were needed on the lights and other things to compensate. Still though, I would recommend this pump.
1 Would not buy again 08/18/2008 - by John Peters from Kalamazoo, MI US
Purchased pump on 6/18/2008, on 8/04/2008 it all of sudden started making a loud growling noise and throwing lots of micro bubbles into display tank. It is under warranty but I have to send it too someplace in Ma. for service and now have no way of returning water from sump to display. Who knows how long it will be gone. Dont waste you money!
5 Excellent 12/03/2007 - by John Trinder from Tulsa, OK US
Excellent pump, very quiet
1 Don't Buy 12/12/2006 - by David Seitsinger from Big Pine Key, FL US
I bought the 200PS in November -2006. Pump ran for 2 weeks then quit. Pan World has made no effort to honor their warranty. After weeks of calling them and screwing around with them - I still have no resolution.
5 Very quiet...I love it 12/17/2005 - by Curtis Howard from Holt, MI US
I bought this to replace the mag drive 36 that was pumping water to my display from my basement sump and I lvoe it. The Mag was so loud you could hear it from all over the house. This you can hear in the basement, but that is it. Plus it seems to be able to handle the head pressure better.
5 If its like my blueline 06/14/2004 - by Bart Williams from Fairbanks, AK US
This unit looks exactly like my Blueline 70 same data only thing different is that they stamped a different name on them.
My blueline 70 has been on for 2 years running 24/7 with no cleaning. It is running just as good as when I started it up the first day.
Very quiet and cool running.
