(06/01/2004) - I just got mine in and it looks like it will work great, but I just found out it does not work properly on the HOT-1 without modifications. The top will pop off unless you seal it somehow. Just thought I would throw out a warning.

(06/01/2004) - The waste collector performed just as I hoped it would! On two occassions while the skimmer [PM Hot 1] was breaking in, the water level in the skimmer rose to fill the collector cup while I was sleeping. On other occassions when this has happened the result was a full, overflowing milk jug, and a hardwood floor wet with salt water. Not pretty. No more! Once the waste collector was full, the skimmer shut down - couldn't displace any more air. Fine workmanship. For me, the price is worth the piece of mind, not to mention the lack of skimmate odor! -reefworm
