5 Great addition to a system 02/24/2008 - by Scott Fields from Elizabethtown, IN US
Picked up one of these and I'm now ordering my second. Seals are great as I use these on a shelf above the sump and don't have to worry about leaks. Use PO4 media in my first one and getting another for carbon. Super easy to clean and that is the main reason I am ordering another one.
4 Hi quality reactor 01/24/2008 - by FRED S from Plainwell, MI US
Very good. Sturdy materials, well built. I have had some problems with opening the canister on occasions, with its smooth lid making it hard to get a good grip. Otherwise would recommend it. The MaxiJet 600 is great with it.
5 Very good reactor 01/04/2008 - by SJ from SW GA US
Very high build quality, the top seals perfect without any tweaking. Solid feel and thick construction materials where needed (top). The included roll of teflon tape for the NPT barb fittings was a very nice touch. Using a MJ 600 and a ball valve, very easy to dial in (though it take a little while to get the air out of the lines). The sponges are not so course that the media passes through. Nice product.
5 Better than other brands 09/21/2006 - by Rob Beirne from Charlotte, NC US
I got the smaller of the two and just put it in my sump so I don't have to worry about leaking. Great quality. Sure beats the quality of the Kent and Two Little Fishes reactors. Holds more media too. Even though they are not shown in the picutre it does come with two black round sponges. I use a maxijet 600 on it.
