It was a nice monitor for a bit less then 3 months. The wiring in the probe or the unit itself is week since it stopped reading or faulting to 1 on the readout. If I put the probe in the water just right sideways I could sometimes get a reading. Not sure of the accuracy. I sent it back for warranty work and had to go buy a hydrometer to use temporarily, kind of defeats the purpose. I always treated the probe with care, no reason for it to quit working unless the materials are cheap. Still beats checking with hydro, or Refract. but I would have housed it in a ruber waterproof housing like Sony does with some phone, radios, cameras.

Accurate and simple. No more fussing with Hydrometers with "swing arm" or the Refractometers that are hard to read. Get this, and you are set for life!
