5 Absolutely the best for your money

I've had several Maxi-Jets of different sizes for several years, now, being used for all fields of aquarium operations; from continuous use for filters/skimmers, to constant on/off use for wavemakers, to moderate use such as mixing make-up water for water changes, and I've not yet had to repair or replace a single one! I simply can't say enough about these powerheads, nor can I find one single reason to buy a more expensive brand.

You just can't beat these! Cheap, long lasting (do they ever wear out?) and you can get parts for them if you need them. the mod kits are great! I have so many of these I can't count them all! Simply the BEST!

I have tons of these that I use for all kinds of applications and they all work fantastically. I've been using them for years and years and have never had one die. My only criticism is that when I use them for mixing saltwater, sometimes I think something in the impeller/motor area has corroded a bit from the saltwater and leaves some kind of residue. This is minor and has never caused a problem for me. I get this from almost all pumps.

5 Great Little Powerhead

I have 4. Two in the tank to stir water around (one of which is fitted with the SURE FLOW kit). One in the RO/DI water tub controlled by the water top-off controller. One that I use for various water transfer and for stirring salt into the water when making fresh saltwater. Never any problem in the 1 1/2 years I've had them.

Maxijets are great pumps, the only wavemaking pumps I've ever used. The build quality isn't as good as it used to be years ago, but still an awesome pump for the money.

I use mine with an electronic wavemaker. They work great. A super pump for the price.

never had a problem after 5 years in service. Just wish they made a little stronger PH or stream attachment.

These are great little powerheads with a long lifespan. I recommend them highly to anyone who wants good flow for a good price.

I've always used maxijets on my wavemakers. Great pump for wavemaking applications, and has very long life.
