These things are small, but they pack quite a punch. Great for use in small sumps as feed pumps for reactors, UV sterilizers, fuges, etc.

In my experience a durable little pump that starts and stops without fail and can even run almost dry. I've used them in both reef tanks and vivaria and have never had a problem, even on a wave timer over extended use. I have one that I got already used some years ago and have it buried in gravel and covered in plant roots and to this day it faithfully powers a waterfall in a dart frog tank. Excellent little pump for the money.

While the MaxiJets are great pumps the MiniJets do not share the same reliablilty. I bought three and all were retired within 8 months. These pumps fail to restart if power is interupted.
