Smart controllers especially designed for use in aquariums With Milwaukee's Smart controllers you can monitor and control pH and/or ORP levels directly in your aquarium. All our controllers work with a 12 VDC adapter and can be hanged above your aquarium. The meters have a user selectable set point and a visual LED alarm that is active when the reading is higher (for pH) or lower (for mV) than the set point. This controller is lower priced than most but works just as well. Used on many reefcentral TOTM. Easy to read and precise control. 2 drawbacks that kept it from getting a 5. The first is the dial on the front is about .2 off of the actual display. Ex. set at 6.5 is actually 6.7. No big deal though because the readout is correct. The second is the probe, it is a 2 piece molded probe unlike the 1 piece pinpoint. There is a small piece of flashing that runs the distance of the probe. I had to sand it smooth because it made my probe holder leak a little.
