(12/27/2007) - Had it for 3 months. Never cleaned. Moves a lot of water. Silent operation. Solid construction. Recommend it.
(09/17/2006) - I bought this as a replacement for a rio pump, glad I did. This pump moves a lot of water and is very quiet.
(04/17/2006) - All my mags have been great pumps!! My mag 1800 ran 16 months strait. Stopped only then to clean it, a little "bath" and back up and running great!

This pump moves a lot of water, but the impeller needs constant cleaning. I'm debating if I should spend $40 for a new impeller.
