Various Test Methods - each individual test will vary on type of test
method. We are proving information below to give you more overall knowledge of
all of there testing methods.

|
Titrimetric
Direct Reading Titrators are 1.0mL microburets calibrated for direct
readout in concentration; no counting of drops or calculations. |

|
Colorimetric
Octa-Slide Comparators -
Feature an all plastic comparator system within a bar which slides
through a special viewer. Provides a one-on-one color matching system. |

|
Axial Readers -
intensify faint color reactions, designed for use with Axial Reading
Octet Comparators. |

Help eliminate visual inconsistencies. A light source passes through a
sample and is measured by a photodetector. Results are translated to a

3 Accurate, but hard to use
|

This kit is VERY accurate, and the repeatability is right on. It is a bit hard to use and takes some trial and error, but it's light years ahead of most other kits including Salifert. The ONLY other kit I'll use to measure Ca is ELOS, and that's just because it's easier and quicker to run.

I agree with what the prior reviewer said. It is darn near IMPOSSIBLE to distinguish the color change from purple to blue. DEFINITLY DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

1 Worthless!

This test is horrible. First you add 1 ml of test water, then you have to dillute it with 11.9 ml of distilled water? What crap is that? Then when you titrate it doesn't come with a comparison card so it goes red to purple to blue. How can you tell purple from blue, well you can't really because it turns back to purple about 5 seconds after whenever it was blue. Go with Salifert, DO NOT BUY LAMOTTE CALCIUM TEST!
