I purchased 190 pounds of Timora and 40 pounds of Bali about a month ago and still haven't seen any aiptasia. The Timora had great color and a few button polyps along with a small toad stool leather. It also had some decent macro algae on it as well. I ask for medium to large pieces and that's exactly what I got. They were really neat and interesting pieces with good size. The rock smelled very clean and didn't spike Ammonia levels at all in my new 210 gallon reef tank. The Timora is similar to Fiji except that the Fiji has more nooks and crannies and is priced cheaper. The folks at PA were pretty helpful. I called and asked how the rock looked before I ordered and they were pretty honest about the condition of the rock when I was buying. The only negative thing was the price, but I knew that when I was buying =))

I purchased 10 pounds of this rock to set up a small 20 gallon hex tank I had gathering dust in the basement. I received four nice sized pieces of rock. The rock was packed in two plastic bags and wrapped in newspaper. There was some moisture on the paper, but the rock was pretty dry when opened up. The rock smelled good and looked pretty clean. Two pieces had about 30-40 percent coverage with purple corraline. I placed these into my tank and after about an hour came in to check and counted close to 10 aiptasia! Overall good looking rock but significantly infested with aiptasia....now to get some peppermint shrimp and joe's juice!

Very nice rock, both shape wise and life wise. I wouldn't say it looked quite as good as the pictures, but very nice. I had quite a few hitch hikers, (some good, some bad) including a few polyps, unfortunately A LOT of Aiptasia, and even a half-dollar sized crab (where the heck did he come from)!!! The timora is worth the premium over the fiji.

First of all, I must say that P.A. has been incredibly helpful to this saltwater beginner. Fortunate enough to live near P.A., I ventured in to pick out my first load of live rock. I was originally planning to just do Fiji, but the Timora was just too incredible looking to pass up; I bought about 10 pounds to go on top of the 40 pounds of Fiji. Polyps and a couple of large snails are just a small sampling of all the life on this rock. So.... you can go to your local pet store and spend $6/pound on some "live" rock where that slight discoloration you see MIGHT be living or you can go with Premium Aquatica and get *LIVE* Rock. Thanks to all at P.A.... I'll be back. Alot!

I have 30lbs of this and 10lbs of the Alor in my new tank. The Timora is a good weight and the pieces PA selected made scaping a breeze.
