These are by far the best snails for glass and rock. They are non-stop grazers and seem to live forever. I have some that are 4 years old at least. Plus as mentioned below, they are very graceful.

The appetite of a turbo but as graceful as a ballerina. My Trochus have not knocked a single thing over. They especially love to work on the rock and it is usually spotless. When done on the rock they move to the glass. I love to watch them work. They are truly my favorite snail. I have a couple that are covered with coraline algae, but they actually have a very attractive shell.

These guys are great, they were not in my tank an hour and the one had already cleaned the corner of a rock. I had no crew in my tank before this, and let me tell you they have great appetites! They are kind of big for a small tank, but not as bad as the turbos.

If I had more money, I'd buy more of these snails! Aww, heck, I'm gonna buy more anyway. These guys really are fast! Somewhat faster than Margaritas but slower than Nassarius. Very good at eating slime, green, and diatom algae.

Trochus snails are non-stop cleaners, and I have found that mine concentrate mostly on cleaning the glass and equipment, which is great. No tank should be without some of these. They also will no bulldoze your rocks.

These are by far the best algae eating snail I've ever had. They are extremely hardy and efficient. They move very slowly but leave nothing behind. They are much more interesting and efficient than turbo grazers and are much more hardy.
