| | Coral Banded shrimp are great for detritus and left over food removal. They also hunt and eat small bristle worms. They will fight arrow crabs and their own kind though, so only keep one per tank unless you buy them as a mated pair. |

I'd always heard that they were nocturnal and reclusive- NOT MINE! He's a very active cleaner that does not disturb my corals or other inverts. Very beautiful, and fun to watch, too. I highly recommend the Banded Coral Shrimp over any other 'cleaner' crustacean for any community or reef aquarium.

I really don't know why you do not see more of these guys. Very active and fun to watch. Climbs on my hand while I am messing in the tank!
