I'm happy with the flow rate & cost, and these run fairly quiet. Unfortunately, they also run very hot. I added two (sp-1800) to a 100 gal reef and spiked the temp 6 degrees in 8 hours. Not good! If you've got a chiller, this is a cost effective way to move alot of water, but the MaxiJets are just plain better.

good design, perfect for placing behind live-rock. really like the dual outlet. also works with the SureGrip magnetic powerhead holders. Also works well when attached to a wave maker. No chatter on start-up so far.
