I just put one of these on my freshwater planted tank to replace marineland stealh.It may cost a bit more but well worth it, for 1 you get another piece of equipment out of your tank and 2 the temp stays rock solid.

I wasn't certain about this product at first. After trying it out with wand heaters as a back up I am impressed.
