(02/24/2009) - I am using this system but in the 48" with 2-250 watt & 2-T5 54 watt. I really like the shimmer effect I get in the water and the T5 bulbs bring out a lot of color from the corals. Halides are great for mixed reef tanks - especially if you want to keep hard corals as well as soft corals. My SPS has been really growing well under this light.
