An excellent filter for small aquariums. Only drawback for me is that it is difficult to access to plant and trim caulerpa as my tank is against the wall in a framed stand. Not too sure about the claim for not needing a skimmer (I still skim, despite the instructions!) but since adding this system I've beaten back an outrageous algae bloom! I do NOT regret buying it!!
