I bought this pump to replace a quite one 3000. This was a great improvement. Really quiet and no heat issues. Great quality too. Still running this pump on a 90gallon and it runs flawless. I am not sure why more people dont run these. I run an ehiem on my 57g and this pump is just as quiet as my eheim.
