I've had one for 1 1/2 yrs. I agree that this thing is difficult to mount. I trashed the included mount and ended up making a plexiglass and Velcro contraption to attach it to my light hood. That said, it is absolutely great!!!!!!!! Works well and provides complete freedom from worrying about timely feedings.

I bought three for my 120, 58, 10. Easy to set up and install. Multiple mounting options for the creative. Regarding the previous review; if you remove/unscrew the suction cup (seen in pic) from the device you can mount to larger tanks. No problems from me. I used the velcro for addl support.

This turned out to be a disaster for me. I bought this one specifically because it seems to have a good mounting bracket for my purposes. In practice while it has a 1 1/8" gap to slide over the top frame, I was unable to clamp it onto something as small as 1/2" wide vertical piece of wood on my hood. Not only that but in trying to mount it on the edge of the aquarium (72G bowfront) the top frame turns out to be both too wide and too tall for a secure fit. So their alternative is to remove the bracket and horizontally mount it, secured with velcro sticky pads. I have a 20G and a 72G with multiple hoods and have a hard time envisioning what to mount it to on either tank. I tried my cross-brace and within hours the velcro peeled off the apparently old sticky tape and the unit fell into my tank and is now completely shot. It would take 5 minutes worth of thought on their part to turn this mount into something much more universal, but without that this has a very limited market.
