I bought this unit for my 120gal reef to offset the 250w (x2) MH lights. I was seeing a 4 to 5 degree swing each day during an 8hr MH cycle even using 4 fans to cool. I have now cut-off all fans. The chiller is set to 78, it cycles on at 80, and cycles off at 78. It only needs to cycle 2 or 3 times in 8 hrs, which is much less than I expected, and I am only loosing 1/2gal to evap where I was losing 3gal each day with the fans. This unit I virtually SILENT. One of the best additions to my system.
