CPR is proud to introduce its newest line of hang-on Refugiums, the AquaFugesm series, which come in three different sizes to meet the needs of marine aquarists. The AquaFugesm are all 12" tall, 4" wide, with lengths of 12", 18", and 24". Each includes its own powerhead and features a unique baffle system that prevents the substrate and organisms from being disturbed while allowing enough water flow to eliminate stagnant areas. The AquaFugesm provides ideal growth conditions for food items such as copepods and amphipods, to feed invertebrates and fish in the main tank. The AquaFugesm also provides a controlled growing area for macroalgae, which can be used to reduce “nuisance” algae in the main tank and provide a “nursery” area for a variety of organisms. |

what a well made refugium. installs in minutes and runs quieter than any pump i've ever used before. the finnex 24 inch light fixture is a perfect match also - not only in looks but design also. space is a problem with my aquarium set up - but mounting this on the back side with the simple attachments is no problem at all. only drawback is the overflow of light into the main tank and i will make a shield to deflect the extra light soon. thanks for a great match up of equipment. michael brown covington ,louisiana

I have to give this producet 3 stars for the following: 1) The product arrvied with it's center brace coming unglued. This is by no means PremiumAquatics' fault BUT I will have to go out and buy some acrylic glue to fix (because dealing with returning and replacing is more trouble than benefit) & 2) The choisce for the water pump is a RIO. There is article after article on the web with people giving explaining their problems with RIO pumps. Other than that it is a nice product even though it is requiring some additional work that I should not have to perform.

What a great product. Holds about 5 gallons of water. The only negative is that the outlet hits my glass canopie and I will have to cut the glass. Other than that thumbs up on a great piece of equipment!!
