This protein skimmer works great!! Is well constructed and will immediately start removing organics as soon as it is plugged in. Will set up in minutes!! Also, if you have never ordered from PremiumAquatics, you have to give them a try!! They ship out your order as soon as they get it and are very reliable.

Very good skimmer, black nasty foam starts getting collected as soon as you plug the power head in. The Rio pump it comes with should be cleaned on a bi-weekly basis, to prevent the threat of bubble back syphoning into your tank. does a great job, may need the aid of an airstone, for added efficiency. Very good skimmer, could easily go for twice the price!

This is a great skimmer out of the box. You can see that itty bitty powerhead has some real power! Solid construction! and it really is quiet! It was very well packed- The Cyclone BAK-PAKsm 2R could probably well excede its recommended 60 gallon recommendations if you suppliment this skimmer with an airstone. I added one anyway. Just and just an FYI, This is my first internet purchase experience. This Premium Aquatitics website, These guys had it in the mail the next dat and I even got an unexpected email tracking number from UPS. Howard-
