Phosphate Removal pad for salt and fresh water. Directions: Keep stored in plastic bag prior to use. Use both sheet together in your filter unit. There is a 24 hour wet-out period before the pad starts to take effect. After a total of 48hrs simply remove the pad and throw it away. Chemi-Mat can be placed along with your other filter media already in use. Chemi-Mat does not need water forced through it. Make sure the pad is totally covered or submerged in the water and make sure there is a steady flow of water over the pad. Chemi-Mat cannot be regenerated.
