(02/08/2005) - I owned an e.t.s.s. super reef devil for a few years on my 75 gal. reef and this thing is performing about the same - which is good. These skimmers are way overated regarding tank size but are excellent, simple to set up and use and affordable. My opinion is to cut the tank rating in half for these and you will have a great performing skimmer. The reef devil was a great little skimmer too but the asm are much easier to set up and disassemble for cleaning. I ended up having to put the reef devil on a stand and had some splashing issues to solve on the output where as I set this skimmer up in about 5 minutes and it is pulling out nice dry foam. I'm using the G2 on a 75 gal reef.
